Marc Newey is a Director with GGA Partners and leads the firm’s Executive Search and Executive Coaching practice in the UK, Europe and the Middle East. Drawing on more than 40 years of leadership experience in private clubs, hospitality, sport, and leisure, Marc advises boards and senior executives on leadership selection, succession planning, organizational effectiveness, executive development, and long-term strategic planning.

Prior to joining GGA Partners, Marc served as Chief Executive Officer of Roehampton Club, one of the United Kingdom’s premier multi-sport private clubs. During his distinguished eighteen-year tenure, he led significant strategic and capital development initiatives, strengthened operational performance, and helped establish the club as a recognized leader in member experience and sporting excellence.

Marc’s career has spanned senior leadership roles with Royal Mid-Surrey Golf Club, Marriott’s Hanbury Manor and Forest of Arden Resorts, and Jack Nicklaus golf developments in the United Kingdom, providing him with a unique perspective on leadership across member-owned organizations, hospitality businesses, and complex leisure operations.

A highly respected industry leader, Marc served as the inaugural Chair of the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA), is a Past President of the Club Management Association of Europe (CMAE), and became the first executive in Europe and the Middle East to earn the Certified Chief Executive (CCE) designation through the Club Management Association of America.

Marc is particularly recognized for helping organizations identify, develop, and support exceptional leaders while guiding strategic initiatives that strengthen governance, organizational culture, operational excellence, and long-term sustainability.
