Samar is a seasoned communications professional with over 10 years of experience in corporate communications, marketing and public relations. Samar possesses a strong hold of communications planning, stakeholder relations and event planning across public affairs, financial services and consumer goods industries.

Prior to joining GGA Partners in 2021, Samar managed branding, communications and marketing strategies at Encasa Financial. These strategies include digital marketing, conferences and events, social media, content marketing and publications, and investor communications.

Previously, Samar was a Communications Consultant with Foresters Financial where she developed member communications strategies and supported governance matters across Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom.

Samar also held a public relations role with Argyle Public Relations where she helped clients create publications, execute social media campaigns, conduct media outreach and establish relationships with member organizations. Clients include US and Canadian trade organizations, membership associations and commodity organizations.

Samar is an avid traveller, animal enthusiast and enjoys reading in her spare time.
