KPMG LEAD ON LARGE TRANSACTION OF GOLF ASSETS

GGA Founder was a KPMG Audit Partner on largest acquisition of real estate holdings in Canada that included golf and resort assets across Canada and the United States.
1986
FOUNDER INVOLVED IN DEVELOPMENT OF TOP 10 CLUB GGA

Founder acts as Treasurer for acquisition and development of new Top 10 private club in Canada, becoming President of Club in 1991.
1988
KPMG GOLF INDUSTRY PRACTICE FORMED

Specialty consulting practice formed within KPMG to capitalize on significant growth available in the sector and help develop key benchmarks and financial insights.
1992
PRACTICE HELPS DIVEST OF +$100M GOLF ASSETS

Practice engaged to divest +$100M in Swiss family golf assets and hires ClubCorp to manage assets during successful process.
1996
PEBBLE BEACH COMPANY DUE DILIGENCE

Practice completes due diligence and valuation on Pebble Beach Company golf assets, assisting in acquisition of Pebble Beach Company by current owners.
1999
CENTURY GOLF PARTNERS TEXAS 21 DUE DILIGENCE

Practice completes due diligence and valuations on initial 21 acquisitions of Texas golf properties for Century Golf Partners.

FOUNDER ACQUIRES PRACTICE AND FORMS GGA

Founding Partner acquires Practice from KPMG, launching specialty consulting firm Global Golf Advisors Inc. bringing across all client files and staff compliment.
2006

FOCUS SHIFTS TO CLUB CONSULTING PRACTICE

GGA Partners Henry DeLozier (former VP of Golf, Pulte Homes) and Derek Johnston (former VP of Ops, GPSI, and Manager, Deloitte) join to build consulting practice.

2008
GGA LAUNCHES EDUCATIONAL PARTNERSHIP WITH CMAA

GGA partners with Club Management Association of America to provide education and research to the association members to raise awareness of GGA and align services.
2009
GGA EMEA OFFICE OPENED TO EXPAND MARKET REACH

GGA EMEA Partner, Rob Hill (Marriott alumnus, former Director of Ops, Carr Golf Services, and Managing Director, Merrion Golf), joins to expand presence into EMEA Region.

GGA ADVISES ON MAJOR CLUB RESTRUCTURINGS

GGA provides advisory and due diligence services for the successful restructuring of The Cliffs Communities, NC and SC, Talisker Club, UT, and Palmetto Bluff, SC.
2014-2017
GGA DEVELOPS STRATEGY FOR LARGEST MUNICIPALITIES

GGA engaged to develop strategic plan for the City of Los Angeles’ portfolio of golf assets and conducts multiple operating model reviews for other governmental agencies.
