Bio
Dr. Eric Hutchison is an accomplished industrial-organizational psychologist with a passion for empowering individuals and organizations to achieve their full potential. With nearly three decades of experience, he brings a unique blend of expertise in organizational behavior, change management, strategic planning, and workforce development to his role as a Director at GGA Partners.
Eric’s professional experience includes 20 years in the financial industry, where he led teams responsible for national branding, product development, strategy and distribution, and merger and acquisition initiatives. His extensive experience managing complex organizational transformations and driving strategic growth led him to establish Hutchison Consulting in 2015. In this role, he partnered with a range of clients to foster a culture of innovation and strategic development while enhancing the employee experience.
Eric’s academic background further complements his applied experience. He holds a BBA in Marketing from Kent State University, an MBA from Otterbein University, and an MS and PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Walden University. A dedicated educator and researcher, Eric has extensive experience in college course design, teaching, and advising. His research is characterized by its rigor, relevance, and practical implications.
Dr. Hutchison is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Psychological Association (APA), the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychologists (SIOP), and the Society for Consulting Psychologists (SCP).
Eric enjoys spending time with his spouse and their two Golden Retrievers, traveling, volunteering with Meals on Wheels, and cooking for family and friends.
