Bio

Glen Dowbiggin, a Director at GGA, joined the firm in 2021 to assist clients with transaction execution, due diligence, club turnovers and capital planning, as well as business and real estate strategies.

Glen’s expertise lies in understanding the unique characteristics of the industry and/or a specific asset and how they can impact a transaction or club turnover, completing in-depth due diligence to understand all risks and opportunities.

Since joining GGA, Glen has gain a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies of transactions and club turnovers while advising on multiple deals representing both the buy- and sell-side.

Prior to joining GGA Partners, Glen worked at KPMG Corporate Finance Inc. on the debt advisory team advising clients on their financial and strategic matters relating to financing and capital requirements. He also advised clients on real estate transactions, business plan development and due diligence services. During his time at KPMG, Glen assisted clients with the development of financing strategies and the subsequent issuances of private placement debentures totaling $1 billion CAD, playing an active role in the execution of each transaction.

Glen began his career with Deloitte in their financial and strategic risk advisory practice serving financial institution clients across Canada.

Glen graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a double major in honours economics and financial management with the co-op option.

When not at work, Glen enjoys his other passions, which include playing hockey and golf, spending time on the beach at his family’s summer home in New Brunswick, and exploring new cities, more specifically the craft breweries.
