Bio

Rob Hill is managing partner of GGA’s Europe, Middle-East, Africa (EMEA) office based in Dublin, Ireland. He specializes in strategic planning for both commercial and private member clubs, while leading an immensely talented team that delivers professional services across the region in the fields of strategy, research, and analytics.

Prior to joining GGA in 2012, Rob fulfilled management positions with Whitbread Plc, Marriott Resorts and the Carr Golf Group. He was responsible for the planning and opening of the golf operation at Carton House, culminating in the property being awarded the IAGTO European Golf Resort of the Year 2008, and as Managing Director of Merrion Golf, he led transaction-related assignments on behalf of Deloitte, Deutsche Bank, HSBC, and The National Asset Management Agency.

Rob is Director of GGA’s Institute for Best Practice, which researches and shares best practices amongst the world’s top performing clubs and resorts with a view to improving performance in an array of management disciplines. He was awarded his MBA from Oxford Brookes University in 1999.
