John Stewart, a graduate of the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University, recently joined GGA Partners as a Senior Associate.

Prior to joining GGA, John spent three years in MNP’s management consulting practice, serving public and private sector clients. His work spanned strategy and financial advisory, with a focus on strategic planning, organizational design, financial modelling, and stakeholder consultation with boards, leadership teams, and staff. He supported clients through business case development, operational reviews, feasibility studies, and transaction mandates, including a hospitality development portfolio comprised of a golf course, two luxury hotels, and six restaurants. John also worked for a private equity real estate firm with approximately $6.5 billion in assets under management focused on U.S. residential community acquisitions.

John is a former varsity golfer at Queen’s University who attempts to keep his game in reasonable shape whenever he can. He is also a passionate triathlete with a half-Ironman completed and more races on the calendar, and a dedicated follower of Toronto sports teams through their rare moments of success.
