John joined GGA Partners in April 2024 as part of the Strategy & Operations team. In his role as Manager, he leads engagements across the firm’s client portfolio, specializing in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement including focus groups and member surveys, membership strategy & planning, and organization & operational analyses.

Before joining GGA, was a professional in the People Consulting practice at Ernst & Young, completing assignments such as organizational design, change management, workforce transformations, and leadership development.

Prior to EY, John spent six years as an educator in his hometown of Calgary, building leadership programs, teaching physical education, and coaching high-level athletes in a variety of sports. He brings his experience developing leaders, understanding organizational dynamics, and knowledge of the private club industry to his daily work with GGA.

John graduated with an MBA from the Ivery Business School at the University of Western Ontario. At Ivey, John co-chaired the program’s first charity golf tournament, raising funds to help underprivileged youth participate in sports. He also facilitated lesson programming for golf newcomers as part of his MBA program.

John, his wife and daughter spend their time running and skiing as well as playing golf and tennis. In his spare time, you will find John reading, catching up on the news and his favourite podcasts or watching just about every available professional sport.
