Bio

Amber Read is a hospitality executive and strategic leader with extensive experience in private club management, organizational leadership, governance, and member experience. Known for her collaborative leadership style and thoughtful approach to organizational evolution, Amber helps organizations navigate change while preserving culture, tradition, and community.

As GM/COO of the Piedmont Driving Club, she oversees operations, strategic planning, capital projects, governance support, and team development. Prior to Piedmont, Amber held leadership roles at distinguished clubs in Canada and the United States, including the Yale Club of New York City.

In addition to her role at Piedmont, Amber serves as a Strategic Advisor with GGA Partners. Drawing on her experience leading complex change efforts she works with boards, executives, and leadership teams to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, align stakeholders, and build organizational momentum. Amber also contributes to GGA’s People Services practice through executive coaching, leadership development, and mentoring engagements that strengthen effectiveness and performance.

Amber is Prosci Certified in Change Management and is actively involved in industry education and professional development initiatives through the Club Management Association of America, National Club Association, and Club Leaders Forum.

She holds an MBA in Global Leadership from the University of Liverpool and recently completed the UCLA Anderson School of Management Board Director Program as part of her continued focus on governance and board leadership.
