John joined GGA Partners in April 2024 as part of the Strategy & Operations team. In his role as Manager, he leads engagements across GGA’s client portfolio specializing in strategic planning, membership strategy & planning, and organization & operational analysis.

Before joining GGA, John’s professional experience was in the People Consulting practice at Ernst & Young, completing assignments including workforce transformations, organizational design, change management, and leadership development.

Prior to EY, John spent six years as an educator in his hometown of Calgary, building leadership programs, teaching physical education, and coaching high-level athletes in a variety of sports. He brings his experience developing leaders, understanding organizational dynamics, and knowledge of the private club industry to his daily work with GGA.

John graduated from the Ivey Business School MBA program at the University of Western Ontario. At Ivey, John co-chaired the program’s first charity golf tournament, raising funds to help underprivileged youth participate in sports. He also facilitated a lesson program for golf newcomers as part of his MBA program.

John and his wife spend their time running and skiing as well as playing golf and tennis. In his spare time, you will find John reading, catching up on the news and his favourite podcasts or watching just about every professional sport out there.
